Robert & Joanne are two Canadians that split their time between Puerto Morelos, Mexico, and Calgary, AB, Canada. They spend their time working in the television industry in Canada and hosting guests at Casa de los Viajeros. They first came to Puerto Morelos in 2002 when they bought Alma Libre Bookstore. For 15 years they ran the successful business until they sold it in 2017.
In 2003 they purchased Casa de los Viajeros (House of the Travellers, because travel is their passion….and yours too!) and started running as rental accommodation the following year. In 2009 the house underwent a major renovation adding two new suites and enlarging the two existing apartments. Rob & Joanne live on the top floor of the home and rent out the 3 apartments below. One of the reasons people enjoy staying at Casa de los Viajeros is that the owners are nearby to help with your questions.
